Anterior Iris
Anterior iris, pupil, and iridocorneal angle. Roughly-textured anterior iridic surface is pocked by radially oriented crypts of Fuchs. Thick trabeculae mark lesser arterial circle. Beaded iris pigment epithelial ruff surrounds pupil. Circumferential contraction furrows impart an undulating configuration to peripheral stroma. Trabecular meshwork is highlighted by electronic charging artifact (stereo SEM, X 20).
