Framboisiform Cells
Framboisiform cells, dark-brown iris "freckle." Spheroidal cellular processes on surface of nevus are engorged with large pigment granules disclosed by cytoplasmic dehydration. Underlying branching processes are thickened and heavily pigmented (stereo SEM, X 2500).
