Anterior Border Layer
Blue iris, anterior border layer (specimen EE). Anterior stroma has an interweaving plexiform appearance. Flattened, interdigitating, dendritic processes of surface fibroblast partially obscure delicate processes of underlying melanocytes (steroe SEM, X 1250).
