Jon has been researching patterns in nature, such as analogy and duality for 40 years, and applying the found principles to developing models of personal well-being. Recent work has focused on developing equations of emotion for quantitative modeling of emotive dynamics, having many useful clinical applications.

The presentation has been divided into two consecutive parts: Analogy and Duality, and Emotion Dynamics: Equations of Emotion.

The Iris and Emotion Dynamics
A recording of a webinar on Iris and Emotion Dynamics (MP4, 193MB, 1:36).
The texture of the iris is known to change very little after birth, and the color is known to change very little after early childhood. The occasional appearance of pigment patches during adult life is documented as is the gradual enlargement of pigment patches over years or decades, and accurate imaging has shown this to be fact. Changes in iris texture among adults has not been demonstrated, except in rare disorders of iris tissue such as iridocyclitis. This opens the question of what does the color and texture of the iris actually represent? In this presentation, Jon reviews the ultrastructure of the iris and the gradual pigmentation changes that have been documented among adults, and will present an alternative hypothesis that the iris structure and color actually represents early perinatal influences (via epigenetic influence) which are reflecting various types of emotional injury that the fetus and infant are subject to. Understanding early imprinting of the limbic system (emotional brain) helps guide the health counselor to assist the client in releasing the deeply held emotional beliefs. Additionally, a newly developed set of equations of emotion, directly analogous to the well-established equations of motion in physics, are detailed as a quantitative framework for modeling the dynamics of emotional impedance (e.g. reluctance to change) and how to reduce it in order to allow for better flow of emotive energy.

Right Use of Will
Right Use of Will - very advanced information on healing and evolving the emotional body

Quotes from RUOW website:

The first book in the Right Use of Will series talks about the many ways in which our Wills have been denied and explains how we can recover our lost Will presence. This inner balance needs to be found, and from that, outer balance can proceed. The rest of the books in the Right Use of Will series can help to go more deeply into buried belief systems that have been running us from our subconscious mind. If you want to read the books in this series, it is important to read them in order.

The additional book, Feelings Matter, gives scientific information validating the importance of free expression of our Will and the importance of feeling that our expression is received. It also explains how the increasingly widespread interference with our early attempts to express and feel received have been resulting in internal, physical imbalances in the development of our brains and nervous systems.

Lack of knowledge, as well as the widespread conditioning, have been generationally increasing the imbalances in our brains and nervous systems until many of our human qualities have become imperiled. The results of these brain imbalances can most easily be seen in the amount of greed, corruption, dishonesty and injustice apparent in the world today. Even when we think we are not affected, we may find that we are, even if only by those around us. For example, reactionary and defensive behavior when there is not a real survival threat indicates brain imbalance.

Feelings Matter talks about what we can do to help ourselves improve our own internal imbalance and how to stop passing our problems on to our children. Understanding the far-reaching effects of Reptilian brain imbalance and how we can regain our lost balance can help us to more effectively make the shifts we need to make in the deep, underlying and subconscious levels where they need to be made, not only in ourselves, but also socially and globally. Feelings Matter also includes a resource section.

Quotes from RUOW FAQ:

Q. I'd like to try the path of emotional movement but I've heard and read so much about "negative" emotions and how damaging they are that I'm not sure if I want to get into this. It might drag me down, damage me, or I could get permanently stuck in these so called "negative" emotions.

A. There is much information out there that has said negative emotions are harmful, don't allow them etc. In my experience, it is held, suppressed and/or unexpressed emotions that can be harmful. Emotions expressed in an unhealthy way can also be harmful, especially when they are being acted out instead of given direct expression as the sounds they want to make. It is the suppressing of emotions and/or unhealthy expression of emotions that can cause body blockage, illness and even DNA damage. Direct expression of emotions through the sounds they want to make can help them evolve quite a bit. When something is suppressed, imprisoned or banished, what does it do then? Acceptance for these emotions can really help them to change without feeling pressured. Remember that the purpose of this is to evolve ourselves as spiritual beings. The missing mother part must be accepted and understood for the essence of what it is, not just the form.
